Spanish LaLiga side Levante UD and Italian kit maker Macron have unveiled the kits that Los Granotes will wear in the 2019/20 season. Jerseys that pay tribute to the 110-year history of the club, born in 1909, and which, in one case have a design whose graphics recall the concepts of speed and energy, in the other they are a tribute to the historical shirt of the Levante UD.
The new Home shirt retains the traditional stripes which have been created using and optical contrast effect to express the concept of speed and energy. An emboss of a celebratory logo in the centre of the chest pays homage to the 110 year anniversary of the club. The personalised backneck label contains the phrase “Un pasado para honrar, un future por conquistar”. The Macron Hero as well as the club crest are in silicon and the flag of the club is embroidered on the rear of the v-neck collar. At the bottom of the shirt, running around the inside is a personalised taping which displays the message MACH LEVANTE and the club crest.
The Away shirt is a homage to a historical strip of the Valencian team. It is white with a central blue band and is given a vintage touch by the polo collar.
The Third shirt features an all-over design on the front with the repeated team logo represented by a frog. In the middle of the chest the two-tone logo commemorating 110 years of the history of the club has been heat pressed. The shirt is complemented by two-colour slits on the side at the bottom and rib-knit inserts on the cuffs. On the back of the neck the embroidered flag reproduces the traditional club colours.
The new kits have been designed through a process of collaboration between the club and the design team of the Italian sports brand. Both have worked to ensure that the colours, symbols and history of the club are represented in the kits while also ensuring the technical performance quality that Macron is renowned for.
