The draw for the pre-quarterfinal of the German Cup (DFB Pokal) 2016/17 was held last night after the second round match of the 2016/17 Bundesliga season between Bayern Munich and FC Augsburg at the Allianz Arena.
Defending champions Bayern Munich face 2015 German Cup champions VfL Wolfsburg, while finalists Borussia Dortmund face high flying Bundesliga rivals Hertha BSC Berlin.
