2018 FIFA World Cup – Group A: Lucky Uruguay overcome Saudi Arabia!

The 2018 FIFA World Cup continued on Wednesday, June 20 afternoon with Uruguay beating Saudi Arabia thanks to a Luis Suarez goal at the Rostov Arena.

Saudi Arabia had the better start but couldn’t score and then in the 23rd minute a blunder from their goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais allowed Uruguay striker Luis Suarez a simple tap in. The Saudi’s continued with their game but could just not score as Uruguay went with a lucky 1-0 lead into the break.

In the second session the standard of the game got even worse with Uruguay in the end winning and Saudi Arabia being eliminated from the tournament after the game.
