The 2018 FIFA World Cup continued on Sunday, June 17 afternoon with Serbia scoring a lone goal win over Costa Rica at the Samara Arena.
The match had its moments in the first session with both Costa Rica and Serbia having their chances, but the first half ended goalless.
In the second session, Serbia went ahead in the 56th minute through a trademark Aleksandar Kolarov free-kick which beat Keylor Navas in goal. Costa Rica thereafter tried to equalise but couldn’t get a goal and Serbia went on to win 1-0.
