2018 FIFA World Cup – Group G: Belgium beat England to top group!

The 2018 FIFA World Cup continued on Thursday, June 28 evening with Belgium beating England 1-0 to top Group G at the Kaliningrad Stadium.

Both sides after having won their two opening games send their ‘B’ teams onto the field with the first half showed after a quick start that both teams did not care so much about winning and topping the group.

But things changed in the second session with Belgium going ahead in the 51st minute with Adnan Januzaj scoring a beautifully placed effort.

Belgium now looked better but they couldn’t create chances with England having their best chance to equalise in the 66th minute when Marcus Rashford had only keeper Courtois to beat but his effort went wide.

And thereafter the match went back to its slow mode and it ended with Belgium winning 1-0 and topping the group ahead of England.
