Following the huge success at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Panini is proud to present its brand new official collection dedicated to the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France. It’s the third edition dedicated to the event – after 2011 and 2015.
History, Passion and Sharing
The long relationship between Panini and the FIFA World Cup can be defined as love at first sight. For nearly 50 years now, Panini has been committed to being the historic reference for the biggest sporting event in the world, first with men’s teams, and more recently with the women’s.
With the same passion, Panini wishes to give the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 the visibility it deserves, through the same fun and social link that fans around the world associate Panini with: sticker collecting, swapping and the thrill of completing their albums.
9 Cities, 24 Teams and 480 Stickers
A 56 page album with 480 stickers to collect, including 36 special ones in foil! 24 nations will compete to win the FIFA Women’s World Cup, and every country will be represented in the album through 19 unique stickers per team: 17 players, 1 badge and 1 team photo.
As well as the dedicated team pages the collection will also include other special features.
These to include; a focus on the 9 cities that will host the 52 matches of the tournament, the stadiums, and an opportunity to review the different records of the competition: the youngest player, the most successful team, the most rapidly scored goal, as well as the winners of the previous 7 tournaments.
The albums first pages are dedicated to exciting and unique elements of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019, including Ettie – the Official Mascot ettie – , as well as the official event logo and trophy.
In order for fans not to miss any of the excitement, Panini has included the complete match schedule in the album. When will the title holder, the United States, play? Who will face the Netherlands, Euro 2017 winner? A glance at these pages is enough to know!
