2020 CONCACAF League COVID-19 Testing Update!

CONCACAF have released a 2020 Scotiabank CONCACAF League COVID-19 Testing Update!

As part of CONCACAF’s protocols to resume the 2020 Scotiabank CONCACAF League (SCL), extensive COVID-19 testing is carried out on each club’s players and traveling staff, and all match officials, prior to each match.

FC Motagua (HON) vs Comunicaciones FC (GUA)

In the case of the SCL preliminary round match between FC Motagua and Comunicaciones FC, all players, traveling staff and match officials have tested negative for COVID-19.

The match will be played as scheduled tonight at 10:30 pm ET.

CD Municipal Limeño (SLV) vs Forge FC (CAN)

In the case of the SCL preliminary round match between Municipal Limeño and Forge FC, all players, traveling staff and match officials have tested negative for COVID-19.

The match will be played as scheduled tonight at 8:15 pm ET.

LD Alajuelense (CRC) vs Cibao FC (DOM)

Due to inconsistencies which raise the possibility that Concacaf protocols were not followed ahead of this match, the decision has been made to postpone it until further testing can be conducted. This decision has been taken as a precaution to prioritize the safety of everyone involved. Further details on the rescheduling of this match will be announced in due course.
