21-member Colombia U-17 squad travel to India for the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup!

The Colombia U-17 national team boarded their flight to India yesterday to participate in the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India. The FIFA U-17 World Cup will be played in six Indian cities next month.

Head coach Orlando de Jesús Restrepo Restrepo and his 21-member squad had various preparation camps in the last couple of weeks and the South Americans are now looking forward to get used to the conditions in India in their final phase of preparations.

Colombia will face Ghana in their first FIFA U-17 World Cup Group A match on October 6 (Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi), before they take on hosts India at the same venue on October 9. The „Los Cafeteros“ will clash with the United States in their final group stage match at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on October 12.
