The 36th edition of the All India Governor’s Gold Cup Football Tournament is set to be conducted by the Sikkim Football Association at the Paljor Stadium in Gangtok from October 16 to 27, 2016.
The organisers have invited clubs from across India and neighbouring Nepal. The participating clubs are Mohammedan Sporting Club, United SC, Calcutta Customs, Calcutta Port Trust (all Kolkata), Manang Marsangdi Club and Jhapa XI FC (both Nepal), ONGC (Mumbai), Kerala State Electricity Board (Thirvananthapuram), Nagpur FC, Assam Regimental Centre (Shillong), besides local sides Sikkim Aakraman FC and Gangtok Himalayan SC.
