50th AFC ‘A’ Coaching Certificate Course concludes in Mashhad!

The first phase of the 50th AFC ‘A’ Coaching Certificate Course concluded last week in the city of Mashhad in Iran.

The course was held from May 2 to 14, and the second phase is set to kick off in June 23 to July 5, 2018. It was organised by the Football Federation of Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI) in collaboration with the Khorasan Razavi Football Association at the Imam Reza Stadium state of the art facilities.

FFIRI President Mehdi Taj, in his welcoming speech, wished the participants a productive course, before FFIRI Education Committee Chairman Seyed Mirshad Majedi, who led the opening lecture, took the stage to express the importance of the course in presenting quality education to improve coaches in Iran.

Former Iran national and 2013 AFC Best Player of the Year nominee Javad Nekounam was among the top 24 participants, who were selected by the FFIRI.

Besides Nekounam, Reza Enayati, Nima Nakisa, Hadi Aghili, Hosein Kazemi, Kianoush Rahmati, Ali Alizadeh, Pirooz Ghorbani, Ali Nazarmohammadi, Massod Hanteh, Mostafa Senobari, Hamid Zohani, Seyed Mohammad Montazeri, Alireza Akbarpoor, Ebrahim Sadeghi, Hamidreza Farzaneh, Bahman Tahmasebi, Meysam Baoo, Saeid Lotfi, Ahmad Taghavi, Noris Bagheri, Babak Zolrahmi, Ali Asghar Ghorbanalipoor and Bahram Esmaeili attended the course.

AFC instructors, Ardeshir Pournemat, Nader Arabi and Amirhossein Peyrovani conducted the coaching training of the course, along with academic instructors from local universities, who touched on sports science related topics.
