adidas has revealed the Juventus FC third kit for the 2018/19 season. Made from a 100% recycled polyester interlock material that incorporates Ocean Plastic ® by Parley, the new third kit fuses performance technology with eco-innovative design.
The sleek dark grey jersey features an all-over-printed adidas graphic and is accented with bold yellow detailing on the three stripes, adidas logo and club crest.
Francesca Venturini, Designer at adidas said of the new kit, “The new Juve third kit has eco-innovation and longevity at its very heart. Through our partnership with Parley for the Oceans we’ve been able to create this beautiful jersey made from Ocean Plastic ®. The dark grey shade with yellow accents makes it the perfect jersey to be worn either on pitch or on the streets.”
As a founding member, adidas supports Parley for the Oceans in its education and communication programs, as well as its comprehensive Ocean Plastic Program that intends to end marine plastic pollution through the three pillars of the Parley AIR Strategy: Avoid, Intercept and Redesign. Additionally, adidas and Parley collaborate to transform ocean plastic waste into symbols of change by up-cycling intercepted marine plastic debris for use in high-performance apparel. That technology has been used to create the new Juventus third kit.
