AFC approves two replacement goalkeepers for Al Hilal SFC!

The Asian Football Confederation has approved Al Hilal SFC’s request for the registration of new two goalkeepers in the Saudi Arabian club’s 2020 AFC Champions League squad.

Three of the Al Hilal goalkeepers registered for the tournament have tested positive for COVID-19 and the AFC has allowed the replacement of two in accordance with Article 26.6 of the AFC Champions League competition regulations.

Abdullah Yahya Albishi and Ahmed Fahad Aljubaya will replace Mohammed Ahmed Al Wakid and Nawaf Saeed Alghamdi respectively.

Albishi and Aljubaya will be eligible to participate in the ongoing AFC Champions League in Doha, Qatar from Saturday, September 19 provided their registration documents are submitted in accordance with the regulations, and that all other applicable rules are complied with, which are currently being processed.
