AIFF asks for applications for the India Under-17 Head Coach role!

The All India Football Federation has publicly advertised for a new Head Coach for the India Under-17 National Team which is to take part in the forthcoming 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India in October 2017.

Reflecting on the AIFF’s future course of action, AIFF General Secretary Kushal Das said, “A committee will be formed to shortlist the candidates and conduct the interviews. Based on the advertisement, the applications received would be considered by the Committee.”

“The boys are presently training in Goa and we want to expedite the process to enable the coach to take charge at the earliest,” Mr. Das added.

Outgoing AIFF Technical Director Scott O’Donell and former India coach Savio Medeira are set to handle affairs until a new head coach takes over.
