Bayern Munich recall Sarpreet Singh from loan at 1.FC Nürnberg!

New Zealand international of Indian origin Sarpreet Singh has returned to FC Bayern Munich with immediate effect from his loan at Bundesliga 2 side 1.FC Nürnberg.

The German record champions agreed with 1.FC Nürnberg for Sarpreet Singh to return from the loan that started at the beginning of the 2020/21 season.

The 21-year-old midfielder made twelve appearances for FCN in Bundesliga 2 and one in the DFB Cup in the first half of the season, but the Bavarian giants weren’t happy with Sarpreet’s progress or rather the lack of it in Nürnberg.

FCN Sports Director Dieter Hecking said, “Together with FC Bayern and Sarpreet, we have agreed that this step is the right one for everyone. We wish him all the best for his sporting and private future.”

Returning to FC Bayern, Sarpreet is likely to be part of the FC Bayern II for the remainder of the 2020/21 season in the third division (3.Liga).
