Defending Indian Super League champions Bengaluru FC just days before the sixth ISL season announced the good news that they would be playing their home matches at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium.
There had been uncertainty if Bengaluru FC would be allowed to play in the Sree Kanteerava Stadium after the Karnataka Athletic Association (KAA) and the Department of Youth Education and Sports (DYES), Government of Karnataka fought in court about access to the stadium for athletes while the stadium was under control of Bengaluru FC.
Bengaluru FC in an official statement said, “We can confirm that Bengaluru FC will be playing its home games for the 2019-20 season out of the Sree Kanteerava Stadium.”
