Candidates for election of eight members of the UEFA ExCo at the 45th Ordinary UEFA Congress!

The UEFA Executive Committee and all 55 UEFA member associations have been informed of the list of candidates standing for election at the 45th UEFA Ordinary Congress in Montreux, Switzerland, on April 20, 2021.

By the set deadline of Saturday, January 2, 2021, the UEFA Administration has received the following nine candidatures (in alphabetical order) for the eight members of the UEFA Executive Committee to be elected (each for a four-year term) at the 45th Ordinary UEFA Congress.

All of the above-mentioned candidates have successfully passed the requisite eligibility check carried out by the UEFA Governance and Compliance Committee (in accordance with Article 21(6) of the UEFA Statutes and Article 4bis of the Regulations Governing the Implementation of the UEFA Statutes).

In addition, by the set deadline of Wednesday, December 2, 2020, and in view of the elections which will also take place at the UEFA Congress in Montreux, the UEFA Administration has received the following candidatures for the FIFA vice-president’s position reserved for the four British associations, as well as for five ordinary members’ positions on the FIFA Council (including at least one female).

Candidates (in alphabetical order) for the FIFA vice-president position reserved for the four British associations – i.e. England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales (for a two-year term):

The requisite eligibility check for the FIFA Council candidates will be carried out by the FIFA Review Committee and will be communicated in due course.
