Chandigarh Youth League – Day 2: St. Soldiers FC maintained their fine form as MG FC go down fighting to Vivek High FC!

Mohali-based Minerva Punjab FC are hosting the Second Edition of the Chandigarh Youth League at the Minerva Academy Grounds which saw the youngsters put up some promising display with fine footwork making the league more intense and competitive.

The Morning kick off between St. Soldiers FC and Sacha Soorma saw the latter go down fighting with a scoreline of 4-2 as Rohan scored a brace while Anmol and Gaurav scored each to cancel Sahib and Vikas’s efforts to bag all three points. The next encounter between Vivek High Soccer Academy and Doaba FC saw Vivek High Soccer Academy take the honors as they blanked Doaba FC 4-2.

Kabir FC however didn’t have their best outing as their junior team too went down fighting to Vivek High Soccer Academy with a scoreline of 1-3, As Jabbar, Arnav and Jaskaran scored for the visitors to cancel Raunde’s conselation goal. MG FC faced their first defeat of the league goin down to Arsenal FC with a scoreline of 2-4 that saw Shivam, Daksh and Dev score to cancel out Prabhat’s goal.

The Evening Fixtures saw, Daoba FC blank Python FC with a scoreline of 2-0 that saw Harminder score a brace while Warriors FC went down fighting to 7 Star with a scoreline of 2-1 that saw Umzubayi and Benkhim score to cancel Aashq’s early lead.
