The Chandigarh Youth League kicked off with matches today at the Sector 17 Football Stadium. The Chandigarh Youth League is being organised from today, May 27 to June 11 by Minerva Punjab FC in association with Chandigarh Football Association and Mission XI Million at the Sector 17 Football Stadium.
Day One of matches kicked off and teams of the 19 Years and Above, 16-18 Years, 13-15 Years and 9-12 Age Groups played their first round of matches in the morning and evening amidst a festive atmosphere. Matches were played in 7-A-Side format and each team was mentored by a Minerva Punjab FC coach. The Man of the Match was announced after each match and presented a trophy. Not just the kids but the parents also took part in fun games and football related challenges and got to win prizes too.
