Chandigarh Youth League moves into knockout stage!

Chandigarh Youth League (CYL 2019), is making noise all over the tri-city area as 42 teams battle it out in the intense competition and no one seems to be slowing down anytime soon.

In the U-8 category, Dikshant FA made its impact by scoring 6 goals and becoming the table toppers. St. Stephens also displayed their fiery intent by winning 2-0, both teams are set to advance into the next stages.

U-10 age category had had its fair share of drama. Velocity B team saw themselves maintaining their winning streak with a 5-0 margin. While Kids R Kids team are right behind at second positions on the group B in U-10 category. In A group, the second position St. Stephens with a stupendous performance secured a 4-1 victory while the table toppers Red Devils managed a 3 point with a single goal, keeping them at the top.

U-14 and U-16, are weaving their own tale with interesting twists and turn. In U-14, while ATM FC continues to remain at the helm with its flawless streak, the runner ups CR7 FC saw themselves stumbling a bit by drawing it out with Vivek FC. The third position Soldiers FC however secured a 3 point lead by scoring 3-0 victory.

U-16 had a similar story to tell with 3rd position Vivek FC 1 settling for a single point and 4th position United KV securing a clear three points.

Open category, saw the table toppers Soldier FC (senior) display their brilliance as they emerge as winners in a 5-2 victory while both Gold FC (seniors) and 7 Brothers went home with a single point.

The competition seems to be getting more heated up as participants leave no opportunities untouched in displaying their finesse and brilliance as the competition shifting gear as Day 8 came to an end.
