Chandigarh Youth League: St. Soldier’s FC maintain their unbeaten run!

The Chandigarh Youth League – Season 2 matches on Wednesday saw some saw dropping performance as the teams are already half way into the tournament, setting their eyes on the glittering trophy and goodies there are no teams taking their matches lightly.

The first game of the Open Category saw St. Soldiers FC blank Strikers FC 3-0 that saw Ashish of St. Soldier’s score a hattrick eventually winning the man of the match award. In the other U-16 game St. Soldiers FC held high flying Vivek High Soccer Academy in an end-to-end encounter that saw Tushar steal the spotlight and being awarded the man of the match award. The following encounter saw 7 Super Kings trash Daoba 1 FC with a scoreline of 3-1 that saw Vineet score for Daoba and Piyush and Himanshu score for 7 Super Kings.

Sucha Soorma too escaped with a 2-1 win over VHS as Daoba were awarded a walk over (3 points and 3 goals) since Kabir FC did’nt turn up for the game. In the reverse fixture 7 Star pumped in 3 past Daoba that saw Hemant score a lone goal and Uudirpui strike twice.

In the evening fixture, The Open category saw Joga Bonito go down fighting to Tigers FC with a 5-1 margin that saw Apoorv and Yuvraj score twice and Prabhat score a lone goal as Parth pulled a consolation for Joga bonito. Pythons FC too pipped Sirsa in the U-16 game with a 4-1 margin that saw Aditya, Samarth and Anirudh score twice, Samarth was awarded the man of the match.

In the U-12 encounter, Vivek High Soccer Academy 1 got the better of Vivek High Soccer Academy 1 scoring 3 past them, that saw Aadi and Rithik score for the first team.
