I-League side Chennai City FC have announced the signing of talented young midfielder Pravitto Raju on a long-term contract from the upcoming 2018/19 season onwards.
Pravitto Raju joins Chennai City FC from former National Football League side Indian Bank, the current Chennai Football Association (CFA) league champions.
As a midfielder, who can play on both wings as a two-footed player and also upfront as a lone striker, Pravitto Raju had an exceptional season in the Chennai Football League ending as top scorer with 13 goals to his name.
Now Pravitto Raju makes the move higher from a local league side to an I-League side and he will have to prove himself as he is also seen as a replacement for Michael Soosairaj, the star of Chennai City FC in last seasons I-League, who has since signed for Jamshedpur FC.
