China’s Beijing FA delegation visits AFC House!

Senior Members of the Beijing Football Association paid a courtesy visit to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) General Secretary Dato’ Windsor John at AFC House today to discuss football development.

Dato’ Windsor, accompanied by several AFC directors, thanked Mr Yang Haibin, the Beijing FA President, Mr Wang Pinxi, the General Secretary, and Deputy General Secretaries Chen Changhong and Wang Xiaogang, for making the trip to Kuala Lumpur.

The AFC General Secretary said: “Football in China is developing so quickly and we, at AFC, will support the Chinese FA and its Member Associations to realise their vision of being a world football power. AFC is committed to assisting all our Member Associations in achieving their goals.

‘We are delighted to hear of your determination to succeed and your continued investment in the future of football in Beijing.’

Mr Yang Haibin thanked the AFC General Secretary for his hospitality and outlined the Beijing FA’s commitment to grassroots football, technical development and to educating both referees and coaches in the coming years as part of their desire to increase the professionalism and reach of the game in Beijing.
