From the community into the Champions League: The new adidas third kit of FC Bayern!

When FC Bayern Munich starts off in their new UEFA Champions League campaign in the autumn of 2017, Joseph Maraska, from Israel, enters the great stage of the Champions League – at least symbolically – alongside Manuel Neuer, Mats Hummels, James Rodriguez. The 15-year-old is responsible for the look of the new third jersey, which adidas presented today together with FC Bayern. For the first time the brand with the three stripes has laid the jersey design of several clubs in the hands of fans from all over the world.

Joseph is an ardent supporter of FC Bayern Munich from childhood, and one of six winners, whose designs have been put into production by the digital platform “Creator Studio. “First of all, the community chose a pre – selection, then a jury of players and managers of the clubs. Joseph’s design is characterized by the well-known rhombuses of the club’s coat of arms, which represent a modern interpretation of classic jerseys from the German record champion.”

In addition to FC Bayern’s jersey, the new evasive jerseys of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Juventus, AC Milan and Flamengo Rio de Janeiro are also returning to the adidas “Creator Studio”. The innovative platform gives the creativity of football fans a new visibility – and creates an additional link between the supporters in the curve and the players on the pitch. As a result, adidas continues to implement its open source strategy, which invites athletes, consumers and partners to become part of the brand. The breathing-active climacool® technology, which ensures high moisture transport even at warm temperatures, is once again the material for all jerseys.
