CONCACAF & Univision sign US Spanish language rights deal for Women’s & Men’s Olympic Soccer Qualifier!

The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) and leading Hispanic media company Univision have signed an exclusive agreement for Spanish language rights in the US covering both the Women’s and Men’s Olympic Qualifiers.

The CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifiers kicks-off today and includes current FIFA World Champions the US Women’s National Team, fellow World Cup participants Canada and Jamaica, the Mexico Women’s National Team and Costa Rica, Panama, Haiti and St Kitts and Nevis. The eight teams will compete for the two regional spots at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Matches in the Women’s Olympic Qualifiers will be available on Univision’s TUDN sports cable network and TUDNxtra platform, as well as on TUDN Radio (schedule details below).

Univision’s commitment to bringing the road to Tokyo 2020 to fans will continue with the network broadcasting all games in the CONCACAF Men’s Olympic Qualifiers, due to be played in the March FIFA Window with group games starting on March 20, concluding with the Final on April 1. The top eight teams across the region will compete for two regional spots at Tokyo 2020.

The draw for the Men’s Olympic Qualifiers, which took place earlier this month, drew the USA and Mexico in the same group leaving fans excitedly anticipating the match-up between both nations. The other six competing nations are: Canada, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Haiti and Honduras . The tournament is exclusively for under-23 players, providing a fantastic opportunity for the best young men’s talent from across the region to showcase their skills in a major international tournament.
