Five of Delhi Dynamos’ top performers from last season will head to the Aspire Academy in Doha, Qatar for a two-week conditioning camp and a personalised training routine starting tomorrow.
Vinit Rai, Mohammed Sajid Dhot, Nandha Kumar, Lallianzuala Chhangte and Romeo Fernandes, all five who are on a long-term deal with the capital based Indian Super League franchise will work under the tutelage of the experienced Aspire coaches in Doha, Qatar.
The world renowned Aspire Academy has set up personalised training and skills setup for the players depending on their position and their game style to help them further develop as a player.
“It is a great opportunity for us. To have personalized training camps setup for all of us is great as we can then work on our individual strengths and weaknesses. A lot of tournaments are coming up and we all want to be fit so this two-week camp can help us prepare for the upcoming season,” Delhi Dynamos midfielder Vinit Rai said.
The players will return to New Delhi on May 13.
