The Delhi State Under-16 boys team maintained their winning spree with a 4-0 win over Uttarakhand at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh to qualify for the final round of Sub-Junior National Football Championship-2016/17.
A fine brace from star striker Ashu in the 3rd and 43rd minute, a goal each by Bodhisatttva and Keshav Vaidhya in the 39th and 60th minute helped the Delhi team to win the match comprehensively.
Delhi had earlier won their group league matches defeating Punjab 4-0 in which Ashu scored a hattrick with Keshav Vaidhya scoring the other goal and they had also beaten Chandigarh 2-0 with again Keshav Vaidhya and Ashu the goalscorers.
