Delhi Audit scored a 2-0 victory over Central Sectt. in a senior division preliminary league match of the Delhi Soccer Association (DSA) Annual Institutional Football League Championship 2016 being held at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium. Hitender Rawat and Golmei scored in 3rd and 29th minute for winners.
In another match, Food Corporation (HQ) scored a 4-1 victory over Central Excise and Customs. FCI had Mahinder Singh scoring three goals in the 6th, 26th and 56th minute besides Sushil in the 54th minute.
In the A Division, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) defeated Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) 3-0. The goals for AIIMS were scored by Navaneeth (20th), Jiby Chacko (23rd) and Rajan (32nd).
Later on, Air India defeated Oriental Bank 4-1. Air India goalscorers were A. Amit (16th), Chirag (32nd, 46th) and Mukesh (57th), while Oriental Bank’s Sanjeev Sharma reduced margin in the 45th minute. However after the match Oriental Bank lodged a protest against Air India over fielding an ineligible player.
