The Under-18 boys of East Bengal Club scored a 2-0 win over United SC in their final U-18 Youth League – Kolkata Zone match on Thursday, December 27 to qualify for the U-18 Youth League final round.
The goals were scored by Sougata Hansda and Shrawan Lama.
With this win, East Bengal finished on 18 points from 10 matches behind archrivals Mohun Bagan on 21 points, but both sides make it to the U-18 Youth League final round, while ATK (16 pts), United SC (13 pts), SAI – East Zone (9 pts) and New Barrackpore Rainbow AC (4 pts) were eliminated finishing third to sixth in the group.
