Errea & Grimsby Town FC’s launch new 2019/20 season kits!

Tradition and change come together in Grimsby Town FC’s new official kits, created once again by Erreà Sport, the Club’s technical sponsor.

For the 2019/20 season the classical aligns itself, in particular, with the search for something new, care and attention to detail and innovation both in style and fabric.

In keeping with tradition, the first shirt features the traditional pattern of black vertical stripes on a white background, embellished by red edges and inserts inside the sleeves and in the original lower band bearing the claim “We Are Town” in white. The stylish and original collar, with its black and white inserts, revisits the V-neck style with a fashionable tear-drop. The Club’s logo is in high-definition and embroidered on the top left of the shirt. Just like last season, the insert in utility fabric, characterised by special micro-holes, and the stitching under the sleeves, not only give the shirt a more elegant line, but also guarantee greater freshness and breathability. The close semi-fitted wearability combines perfectly with the technical fabric used to make the shirt, that is particularly soft and lightweight, and suitable for following the body’s movement with naturalness. The totally black coordinated shorts, are enhanced by a horizontal white band that enlivens the graphics.

The “away” shirt, that comes in a stylish and refined blue, stands out because of its distinctive clean, simple lines. The round neck is embellished, as is the rest of the shirt, by distinctive contrasting stitching in red. Confirmed is the B-Hive thread used to make the kit, an innovative fabric constructed with a special honeycomb weave consisting of micro air chambers. The two-ply, but extremely lightweight thread is made up of different coloured fibres in order to produce the characteristic melange effect, a light-dark pattern obtained through the use of a frequently employed double dyeing that is typical of the leisurewear style. The second strip’s shorts are also in blue and are produced in the same fabric, with a high red trim that reprises the stitching.

The third strip, in a bold fuchsia colour with white details, is also eye-catching, with a really modern-day look. Key features are the alternating broad horizontal bands some of which are characterised by matching thin horizontal stripes. A new feature comes in the form of the fabric for the third shirt, that combines the technical material of the first, with a distinctive new mesh that runs down the sides, even on the shorts. It has medium-sized holes that are designed to favour the perfect regulation of the body temperature.
