Falken tyre continues football focus with Borussia Mönchengladbach & Atletico Madrid!

The Falken tyre brand is extending its cooperation with the two top clubs in German Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach and Spanish LaLiga side Atlético Madrid this 2020/21 season.

Falken tyre already secured the titles of “Official Tyre Partner” and “Premium Partner” at Borussia Mönchengladbach in the 2019/20 season and will continue this partnership this season. As the official tyre partner, Falken has secured the rights to integrate its own logo on the logo wall during interviews, press conferences and the like.

The cooperation with the top Spanish LaLiga club Atletico Madrid, which has been in place since the 2018/19 season, includes agreements on various advertising rights, including a permanent logo presence at the club’s home games at the “Wanda Metropolitano”.

Christian Kothe, Vice-President Premium Partnerships at SPORTFIVE, comments, “Falken Tyre has been a partner of SPORTFIVE since 2015 and is aware of the long-term, positive impact of football presence on its own brand. These two extensions with top European clubs demonstrate Falken Tyre’s continuity as an established player in sport and will once again help to achieve the brand’s communication goals.”

“The two clubs have tremendous mass appeal, so we will benefit from the high media presence and the resulting media coverage. Especially since Corona means that fewer spectators are allowed into the stadiums and the matches are broadcast on wide-reaching TV,” comments Markus Bögner, COO and President at Falken Tyre Europe GmbH on the selection.

Individual sponsoring packages basically consist of LED banner advertising and static banners, with which Falken secures its TV presence on all the core European markets.
