Indian Super League franchise FC Goa have announced the signing of Alexander Romario Jesuraj from I-League champions Chennai City FC on a three year contract, while directly loaning him for the 2019/20 season to Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan.
The talented 22 year old right winger from Dindigul in Tamil Nadu played the last couple of seasons for Chennai City FC, which ended in winning the 2018/19 I-League.
Alexander Romario Jesuraj had first made aware of himself when picked for the India Under-13 national team. He went on to represent Tamil Nadu U-16s as a 13 year old and played local football before joining Chennai City FC in 2017.

FC Goa now signed Alexander Romario Jesuraj for an undisclosed fee, while sending him on loan to Mohun Bagan and interestingly he joined the Mariners pre-season training in Goa.
On signing for FC Goa, Alexander Romario Jesuraj said, “I am very excited to join the best team in India. I watched them play last season and understood that this is the type of footbll that I wanted to play.”
