FIFA Women’s World Rankings: India stay 55th, USA retain top spot!

Earlier today, the latest FIFA Women’s World Ranking were released by the world football governing body and in the second rankings of 2020, India stay in 55th position alongside Northern Ireland behind South Africa and Belarus, but ahead of Venezuela.

India have 1432 points, the same as last quarter and they retain their 11th position in the Asian (AFC) Women’s rankings.

In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of Nepal (99th), Bangladesh (134th), Sri Lanka (140th), the Maldives (142nd), and Bhutan (154th) with Pakistan currently unranked.

There were no changes in the top 5. The 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup winners United States (2,181 pts) retain top spot ahead of Germany (2,090 pts), France (2,036 pts), the Netherlands (2.032 pts) and Sweden (2,007 pts) completes the top five.
