FIFA World Rankings: India down to 109th, Belgium stay No. 1!

FIFA - Coca Cola Mens World RankingEarlier today, the latest FIFA ‘Coca Cola’ Men’s World Ranking were released by the world football governing body and in the September rankings, India dropped a spot to 109th position behind Estonia, but ahead of Central African Republic; while 2018 FIFA World Cup semifinalists Belgium stays No. 1.

India have 1187 points, the same like in July and they stay in 19th position of the Asian (AFC) rankings.

India played no match in the last window and it is unknown when India will next play their 2022 FIFA World Cup / 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers is currently unknown due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of the Maldives (155th), Nepal (170th), Bangladesh (187th), Bhutan (189th), Pakistan (200th) and Sri Lanka (206th) in what was another mixed month for the region.

There was one change across the top 5. Belgium (1,773 points) stay No. 1, ahead of 2018 FIFA World Cup winners France (1,744 pts), 2019 Copa America winners Brazil (1,712 points), England (1,664 pts), and Portugal (1,653 pts) who moved up two spots to complete the top five.
