Four goal Kamo Bayi stars for Mohun Bagan in 5-2 CFL win over Pathachakra!

Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan AC continued their Calcutta Football League – Premier Division ‘A’ campaign with a spectacular 5-2 victory over Pathachakra at their own Mohun Bagan ground on Monday evening.

Man of the Match and star on the night was Ivorian striker Kamo Stephane Bayi with four goals for the Mariners.

Came into the match having beaten Mohammedan Sporting in an earlier encounter and they went ahead in the 15th minute of a Nadong Bhutia header with an upset possible.

But Mohun Bagan equalised in the 24th minute when Kromah set-up Kamo Bayi for his first goal of the match. The Ivorian put the Mariners ahead in the 43rd minute, who went into the break with a 2-1 lead.

Kromah got onto the scoresheet on the hour mark with a powerful shot, but thereafter it was again the Kamo show, who scored in the 62nd minute and the last minute of regulation time to complete a rare four goal show for the green and maroon.

Inbetween Pathachakra got a penalty but it was blasted over but substitute Joel Sunday reduced the deficit deep into injury time as Mohun Bagan won the match 5-2.
