The Football Players Association of India (FPAI) have announced their 18 players FPAI XI squad for the charity match against Mizoram XI to be played at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Aizawl on Saturday, July 1.
FPAI president Renedy Singh and former FPAI president Bhaichung Bhutia will also be present during the match and the former India internationals might also see some match action.
The proceeds of the charity match will be handed over to the families of the victims who suffered during the recent Mizoram floods, while the FPAI and Mizoram Football Association have jointly decided to cancel the evenings FPAI Indian Football Awards and rather hand over the trophies of the 2017 FPAI Indian Football Awards winners at the ground during the half time of the charity match.
