German DFB Cup: Smaller sides look forward to welcome Bundesliga sides in Round 2!

DFB Pokal NEUThe draw for the second round of the German Cup (DFB Pokal) 2017/18 was held this afternoon with the draw carried out by Germany U-21 coach Stefan Kuntz and comedian Carolin Kebekus at the Deutsche Fußballmuseum in Dortmund.

Defending champions Borussia Dortmund travel to third division side 1.FC Magdeburg, while record champions Bayern Munich travel to Bundesliga rivals RB Leipzig in the top clash of Round 2.

The matches would be played on Wednesday, October 25 across the country with the amateur clubs looking to welcome their more established opponents.
