The German Supercup 2019 will take place on Saturday, August 3. Bundesliga runners-up Borussia Dortmund will meet Bundesliga champions and German cup winner FC Bayern Munich. The venue and kick-off time of the match have now been confirmed: The match will be played at the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund with kick-off at 8:30pm.
Normally the Supercup sees the Bundesliga champion and the winner of the DFB-Pokal from the previous season go head-to-head. But if, as is the case this year, the Bundesliga champion is also the winner of the DFB-Pokal, the runner-up in the Bundesliga takes part in the Supercup.
The match will be broadcast in more than 200 FIFA member countries. Information on ticketing will follow soon.
