Goan newcomers FC Bardez will take on Sesa Football Academy in their second match in the Goa Police Cup group stage at Duler Stadium in Mapusa.
The Armando Colaco coached men earned a credible 0-0 draw against heavyweights Dempo SC in their first professional football outing on Monday, August 8 and the experienced manager will be keen for his side to build on that impressive showing.
Defender Rowilson Rodrigues was one of FC Bardez’s stars from their last game and he said that he is keen for the team to continue their good performance in the second encounter. “The atmosphere in the team is good as the coach is friendly and allows us to enjoy our football,” he explained. The centre-back further added that the team spirit in the group was excellent and the players were keen to impress.
Meanwhile, the game will be Sesa Football Academy’s first outing in the competition.
