Churchill Brothers SC will play host to FC Bardez in a Goa Professional League match which will be held at the Ambelim Football Ground on Sunday.
Churchill Brothers drew their previous match against Corps Of Signals as it ended in a goalless draw. Churchill Brothers are currently in eighth spot with just 11 points of the 13th matches, they will be looking to get something out of the match.
FC Bardez on the other hand are also coming into this match off a draw as they played Sporting Clube de Goa and both teams failed to get past each other. FC Bardez are currently in the fifth spot having played 12 matches with 23 points and will be looking to cut the gap between them and the leaders.
FC Bardez head coach Armando Colaco will have to leave out Rowilson Rodrigues as he is suspended after collecting yellow cards in different matches. So, Anil Chawan might get into the starting XI. Lenstan Afonso will also be out because of an injury.
FC Bardez winger Alesh Sawant said, “Yes we dropped points in the last match. We could have won it, but now we have to look forward. We have been working hard and I’m sure we will get the result.”
Meanwhile FC Bardez head coach Armando Colaco said, “I’m taking it game by game. We drew the previous game, but I was happy with the boys’ performance. Every game is a new game for me and a new challenge.”
