Cunchelim Sports Club and Holy Cross Sports Club Arambol played out a 1-1 draw in a Goa Second Division League match played at the Duler Stadium in Mapusa on Friday.
There was no score in the first half but the second half witnessed an attacking football from the word go wherein Maheshwar T gave Cunchelim SC the lead in the 49th minute.
The goal saw the opponents attack in numbers to get the equalizer. Finally Holy Cross equalized in the 69th minute through Godwin Fernandes.
In another match at Poriat ground, Pilerne SC secured a 2-1 win over Vagator Parish Youth SC.
Anson D’Souza scored two for the winners while Dyaneshwar Pednekar pulled a goal back for the losing side. The winners led 1-0 at the break.
