The Himachal Pradesh Football Association has launched their Online Registration System for Football Players through its web portal www.thehpfa.com.
It is mandatory for all football players to get registered with HPFA, the Governing Body of Football in Himachal Pradesh. Only football players registered with HPFA will be eligible and be allowed to participate in official and recognized association football matches. Football players who are not registered with the Himachal Pradesh Football Association will not be eligible to take part in any recognized District, State or National Level Competition.
The Himachal Pradesh Football Association general secretary Deepak Sharma said that all players registered with HPFA will also be registered with the All India Football Federation (AIFF). The online registration system is a facility for professional players and youth who play football. Any player who plays football as an amateur can also get registered.
Deepak Sharma further shared that this initiative will support HPFA’s smooth functioning and will provide updated data of the players alongwith the information on how many players are interested to play football or are active in the state. This registration system will help players to get registered from any location using their mobile phone or computer. A player just has to go to the Player Registration Link on the official web portal of the HPFA www.thehpfa.com and can initiate the simple registration process.
