I-League side Mumbai FC to hold trials for their first team in coming days!

mumbai-fcI-League side Mumbai FC to conduct open trials for its 2016/17 season first team from September 23 to 25 ahead of the upcoming I-League season.

For the first time ever, Mumbai FC, spearheaded by its new head coach Santosh Kashyap, is slated to conduct open trials for its first team.

Head coach Santosh Kashyap said, “We are proud to represent the yellow brigade of Mumbai and hope to be take Mumbai to the pinnacle of Indian football. This is a first time that an equal opportunity will be available to all talent to exhibit their skills and ear a shot at playing for our historic city in the I-League.”

“It will be about the boys realising their potential. We are constantly on the lookout for talented young players,” Santosh Kashyap added.

Only players are eligible for the trials, who are minimum 20 years or above and must have played in the MDFA – Mumbai Elite Division or better.

The trials would be held at the Cooperage Football Stadium on Friday, September 23 (7.30 am reporting time); Saturday, September 24 (3.30 pm reporting time) and Sunday, September 25 (3.30 pm reporting time).
