The Indian national team coach Igor Stimac has named 34 probables ahead of the joint 2022 FIFA World Cup / 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.
India are set to host Oman on September 5 at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati, while having to travel to 2022 FIFA World Cup hosts Qatar, who are also 2019 AFC Asian Cup champions, on September 10.
While Jeje Lalpekhlua is still missing from the probables due to an injury, Ashique Kuruniyan is back from injury while Halicharan Narzary as has Balwant Singh has also been called up.
Missing from the squad are midfielders Jackichand Singh and Michael Soosairaj.
