India Men & Women teams leave for 2019 Homeless World Cup!

India will once more be represented by a men’s and women’s team in the upcoming 2019 Homeless World Cup in Cardiff, Wales from July 27 to August 3.

The tournament which is organised by the Homeless World Cup Foundation will see NGO Slum Soccer once more sending the Indian representative teams and they have been having a camp with the support of the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation.

The Indian Men’s team will be captained by Amrit Pal Singh from Punjab, while Homkant Surandase will be the teams coach.

The Indian Women’s team will be captained by Sujata Rai from West Bengal, while Andy Hook will be the teams coach.

Indian Teams for the 2019 Homeless World Cup

India Men: Amrit Pal Singh (Captain, Punjab), Ravi (Andhra Pradesh), Soram GS (Manipur), Satish Kumar (Karnataka), Alan Solaman (Kerala), Thomas Mayjo (Kerala), Aravind (Tamil Nadu).
Coach: Homkant Surandase (Maharashtra).

India Women: Sujata Rai (Captain, West Bengal), Harshika Vishvakarma (Madhya Pradesh), Muskan Sindhi (Gujarat), Ravina Suryavanshi (Maharashtra), Sapna Jaiswar (Maharashtra), Sheetal Sahu (Maharashtra), Shubhangi Bhandare (Maharatra), Sushila Chanu (Manipur)
Coach: Andy Hook (Scotland)
