Indian origin Norway midfielder Harmeet Singh joins Kalmar FF of Sweden!

Norwegian International of Indian origin Harmeet Singh has joined Swedish Allsvenskan side Kalmar FF a few days ago and looks forward to succeed in Sweden.

Singh had only joined Polish Ekstraklasa League side Wisla Plock in March 2017, but terminated his 18-month contract with the Polish side after only two months and one game played “due to personal and family reasons”.

Now he moves back to Scandenavia. Harmeet said, “It feels very good to be here. I have received a very good first impression of the club and everyone in the team has received me well. Now I am looking forward to get started.”

The son of Punjabi immigrants signed a contract which keeps him at the club for the next 18 months and he will be donning the number 22 jersey.

26 year old Oslo-born Harmeet Singh started off his football at local youth multi-sports club Furuset IF before moving on to Tippeligaen side Valerenga Oslo, where he also made his senior debut.

In 2012 he made a big money transfer move to Dutch Eredivisie side Feyenoord Rotterdam, but in his time at the Dutch giants he never really was able to show his talent.

In early 2014, Harmeet moved back to Norway on a free transfer to sign for Molde FK and he showed glimpses of his talent and was called up to play for Norway senior national team.

After a couple of successful years back in Norway, Harmeet moved south to Denmark to join FC Midtjylland but he couldn’t settle at the club and moved back to Molde FK where he had since March 2016 and then joined Wisla Plock in March 2017 but after two months he terminated his contract

Now Harmeet moves to Sweden for his fourth foreign adventure and it will be interesting to see, if he makes it this time abroad.
