On day two of the inaugural Indian Women’s League preliminary round, local Odisha side Rising Student Club trashed Quartz SC of Kerala 9-1 at the Odisha Police ground in Cuttack.
The goalscorers for Rising Student Club were captain Sasmita Malik with the opener in the 10th minute, Pyari Xaxa scored four goals in the 17th, 58th, 64th and 73rd minutes, Pinky Bompal Mager scored in the 31st minute, Maneka Malik in the 52nd minute, Ngoubi Devi in the 66th minute and Sinu Lata Sahoo in the 82nd minute.
The consolation goal for Quartz FC was scored by Manpreet Kaur in the 42nd minute.
The Player of the Match award was given for four goalscorer Pyari Xaxa.
