Indian Women’s League runners-up Rising Students Club returns to Odisha!

Indian Women’s League runners-up Rising Students Club returned to their home city of Cuttack after their sojourn in the capital New Delhi.

Finishing runners-up in the inaugural Indian Women’s League after a 0-3 loss to Eastern Sporting Union in the final in the capital on Tuesday, February 14, Rising Student Club had earlier finished top of the final group stage with 12 points from four wins and a loss.

Rising Student Club arrived today with the Rajdhani Express from New Delhi and were felicitated at the Cuttack Railway Station by the Football Association of Odisha (FAO).

FAO Vice-President Bhakta Ballav Das was present to interact with the players, head coach Gitanjali Khuntia and manager Gayatri Mallick.
