ISL-4: FC Goa score a big 2-1 win at Kerala Blasters!

Knockout semifinal chasing FC Goa scored a vital 2-1 win against last season ISL finalists Kerala Blasters at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on Sunday night.

After initial exchanges at both ends, it was the ISL top scorer Ferran Corominas to opened the scoresheet for FC Goa in the 7th minute off a pass from Mandar Rao Dessai.

The Kerala Blasters had their problems before in the 29th minute winger C.K. Vineeth equalised with a placed shot. It would stay 1-1 at the break.

After the restart the game lost the momentum of the first half and it had one bright spark and that came from the guests from FC Goa in the 77th minute. A Brandon Fernandes corner was headed in by Edu Bedia for the winner for the Gaurs, who take these three points home, while the Blasters look more and more unlikely to make the semifinals in ISL-4.
