ISL-4: Jamshedpur FC score 1-0 win over NorthEast United FC!

Jamshedpur FC kept their winning run going with a 1-0 win over NorthEast United FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur on Saturday evening.

It was an open game in the first half with chances at both ends with the guests NorthEast United FC having the better opportunities but their finishing, an issue all season, and an alert Subrata Pal in goal kept the score goalless at the break.

The winner for the hosts came in the 51st minute. It was a Izu Azuka throw-in which found former Highlander Wellington Priori, who controlled the ball with his knee and then scored with a bicycle kick for a wonderful goal.

It was NorthEast United FC for most of the remaining second session, but like in the first half scoring a goal just didn’t happen as they wasted loads of chances and Jamshedpur FC scored their third win in a row and enhanced their chances of qualifying for the playoffs.
