ISL-4: Kerala Blasters leave it late to win 2-1 at FC Pune City!

The Kerala Blasters scored a late 2-1 winner against FC Pune City at the Balewadi Stadium on Friday night to keep their ISL semifinal hopes alive.

It was a first half of chances at both ends with FC Pune City and Kerala Blasters both having scoring opportunities to go ahead, but the half ended goalless.

The guests from Kerala went ahead in the 58th minute when Jackichand Singh finished off a solo run with a shot past keeper Vishal Kaith.

FC Pune City equalised through a penalty by Emiliano Alfaro in the 79th minute after the Uruguayan striker was brought down in the box by keeper Subhasish Roy Chowdhury for a soft foul.

The match reached its climax in injury time with FC Pune City’s Emiliano Alfaro first hitting the crossbar in the third minute of added time, while only a minute later at the other end winger C.K. Vineeth scored the winner for Kerala Blasters with a brilliant strike to win the match for the Kerala Blasters.
